The bands call it the culmination of a 25-year brotherhood that began with Bradley Nowell, Sublime's original frontman, and their influence on Slightly Stoopid's career. After hearing Miles and Kyle practice as teenagers, Nowell signed them to his indie label Skunk Records while they were still in high school. Nowell later produced and released their debut studio album Slightly $toopid in 1996 and appeared on the hidden track "Prophet", now a staple of the band's live shows. “We couldn't be more excited for the Summertime Tour 2023. We haven't toured with Sublime since the early days of Stoopid and we're really excited to be back with our brothers in what we like to call the ultimate summer band. We're excited to debut some new songs and play new locations and cities we haven't visited in a while. And most importantly, we can't wait to play music for you all this summer...between the on-stage collaborations and backstage, it's going to be crazy! Stoopidheads are the fuel for Slightly Stoopid. It should be an epic summer of madness!!!
The historical significance of this package is extraordinary as Slightly Stoopid join forces with Sublime With Rome on tour for the first time. It can all be traced back to the legend Bradley Nowell (Sublime's original frontman) and Sublime's early influence on Slightly Stoopid's career. Together, these groups became the forerunners of a musical genre and lifestyle movement that would be reflected in the extensive set lists to be played across the country... Slightly Stoopid's last studio album was 2018's Everyday Life, Everyday People , which peaked at number two on the Independent Albums chart. Sublime With Rome's last album was 2019's Blessings, which featured the single "Wicked Heart".
Pioneering hip-hop duo Atmosphere join the Summertime 2023 tour, marking the first tour with Slightly Stoopid in 10 years. Adds Slug of Atmosphere: “We are absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity to tour with Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome and The Movement. Don't miss the chance to party with us.” The news comes on the heels of their new single "Okay," from their upcoming album So Many Other Reality Exist Simultaneously (out May 5 via Rhymesayers Entertainment).
Since 1995, Slightly Stoopid have remained a musical brotherhood. Founded by Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, two musicians determined to succeed on their own terms, the pair of old childhood friends created a multi-genre fusion of rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal and punk. They remain steadfast in their principles of independence, honoring the diversity of their influences and mentors and promoting their legacy of Southern California sound. Slightly Stoopid has built a huge legacy for itself and is constantly expanding in diversity and repertoire. As road warriors, their tours have grown exponentially both domestically and internationally, with sold-out headline dates around the world and festival appearances at prestigious events such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, ACL, Outside Lands and Cali Vibes. countless others. Twenty-five years after the journey, the production team has much to celebrate. the band founded their own record label, Stoopid Records (over one million catalog sales and two RIAA certified gold singles), created and curated the annual sold-out Closer to the Sun music festival in Mexico, launched a series of unique, high-quality cannabis products under the guise of "Stoopid Strains" and recently released "Tangie Summer Haze", a new beer collaboration with Southern California's Buzz Rock Breweries, while exploring the art of musical collaboration with a range of artists including Bob Weir, Cypress . Hill , Chali2na, Barrington Levy, Don Carlos, G. Love, Stephen Marley, Snoop Dogg and more.

Sublime With Rome, the alternative ska rock band from California, was founded in 2010 by Rome Ramirez and Eric Wilson. With popular hits such as 'Wrong Way', 'Santeria', 'Badfish', 'What I Got', 'Caress Me Down', '40oz to Freedom' and many more, the band's concerts are pure singing. enjoy from start to finish. The band released their debut album Yours Truly on July 12, 2011, cracking the top ten on the Billboard 200. The band previously toured in support of their successful 2019 album Blessings with the singles "Wicked Heart" and "Light On". a dive into alternative radio. Blessings is the band's third studio album and was directed by Rob Cavallo, the producer of Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and more. Sublime with Rome's loyal following can look forward to a new album in 2023 as they return to Sonic Ranch to record their fourth studio album.
